The Most Dangerous Bug Bite in the World

So, you thought that bed bug bites were dangerous. You woke up one day and saw some red bumps on your skin, and you were scared. Well, there is nothing to be scared of. These bites will not harm you in any way, except they will be itchy for a week or two. If you want to know about some real dangerous bites, here is an interesting article about the most dangerous bug bite in the world.

What Is the Most Dangerous Bug Bite in the World?

The most dangerous bit in the world comes from Brazilian wandering spider. This spider belongs to a very venomous spider family. They can be found in Central and South America. These spiders are considered very dangerous and aggressive. They even got to the Guinness Book of Records, as the most venomous spiders in the world.

They can be divided into several species:

Phoneutria pertyi can be found in Brazilian rainforest.

Phoneutria bahiensis can also be found in Brazil.

Phoneutria eickstedtae is another Brazilian spider species.

Phoneutria reidyi can be found in Brazil, Venezuela, Guyana, Peru and Costa Rica.

Phoneutria boliviensis lives in South and Central America.

Phoneutria nigriventer lives in Brazil and it can also be found in northern Argentina.

Phoneutria keyserlingi can be found in Brazil.

So, what happens when you are bitten by any of these spiders? First, the bite is extremely painful. Except causing pain, their venom can lead to serious health problems. For example, if a man is bitten, he may experience a condition known as priapism. He will have erections due to the venom, and this kind of erection is extremely uncomfortable and long lasting. It can last for several hours and even cause impotence. One of the components of this venom is studied for medical purposes. It can be used in treatments for erectile dysfunction in men.

Even though most of these spiders’ bites cannot cause death, it is believed that certain amount of this venom can be lethal. These spiders are capable of delivering large amounts of venom, so there is always a certain risk.

That was all about the most dangerous bite in the world. If you are planning to visit South or Central America, be very careful, especially with the spiders you see there. Keep away from any insect you know nothing about!

Strongest Dog in The World

Is it possible to determine what the strongest dog in the world is? The question itself is pretty unclear, but there could be several answers. First, if we are considering dog breeds, than we can only say it in general. If we are trying to find that one dog that is supposed to be the strongest dog in the world…well, that is quite impossible.

There was a story of Wendy, a female dog form Canada. She is probably the most masculine dog in the world, but that doesn’t make her the strongest. The strength is more than just muscles, right? Still, this dog is certainly interesting for its defect. We call it ‘a defect’ because it really is a defect. Her muscles overdeveloped due to a genetic irregularity.

If the parameter for strength is capability of pulling things, than our strongest dog would certainly be the Newfoundland Dog or the Saint Bernard’s Dog.

The APBT would be the world’s strongest dog if the parameters for strength would be bite or capability to hold for a long, I mean LONG time. It is also the dog capable of puling cars and all kinds of real heavy stuff.

Not only the dogs belonging to this breed are very strong but they are genetically predisposed to be persistent, so it is no wonder why they are well known for half an hour hold onto tier hanging from a tree. Related to this, pit bulls became famous for the ‘locking jaw’, which is something that so many people believe in.

In despite of all the efforts to determine whether this is just a myth, people still consider it to be true and are very much afraid of pits. The truth is that this dog does have very strong bite, but he is not the only one. There are also the Doberman and the Rottweiler who have a strong bite.

The difference between those two breeds and pit bulls is in the fact that pit is very persistent dog, which won’t let go so easily, but not because he can’t (because of his allegedly locking jaw), but because he simple doesn’t want to. So you see that the strength demands control. And the strength is not just in muscles. There is something about “the guts” too.

Smallest Dog in the World

Have you already seen the smallest dog in the world? Can you imagine a dog sitting inside a cup of tea? Currently, there are several dog owners whose dogs compete for this flattery title!

According to what Guinness records said in 2005, the smallest dog then was a female chihuahua, with the length as small as 15 cm! However, it is uncertain whether this tiny female will hold the first position.

Chihuahuas has always been known for their small size, so it is no wonder that the world’s smallest dog came from this breed. But there are other dogs who tend to brake this world record; one of them is a Maltese who is even smaller (he is still young, but his owner says he hasn’t grown a bit since his second month.)

The other one is a Jack Russell-Chihuahua mix, who has a great chance to take over the leading position in being small, in condition he does not grow much longer. In this moment, the Maltese is very close to brake the record.

It must be real fun to have such a tiny pet – or is it? These dogs look incredibly cute, almost unreal, but there are some serious issues regarding their health. For example, their bones are so fragile, that you must constantly watch for their security.

You can not take them out like would do if you had a larger dog, because they can easily be injured by a dog or even a cat! You can’t even put a leash onto this tiny neck, and while playing, you must be really careful!

The second interesting thing is … the price. Since these extremely small dogs are now becoming a sort of attraction, their price is getting higher and higher, so it is almost a matter of prestige to have this tiny miracle as a pet.
