Smallest Dog in the World
Have you already seen the smallest dog in the world? Can you imagine a dog sitting inside a cup of tea? Currently, there are several dog owners whose dogs compete for this flattery title!

According to what Guinness records said in 2005, the smallest dog then was a female chihuahua, with the length as small as 15 cm! However, it is uncertain whether this tiny female will hold the first position.
Chihuahuas has always been known for their small size, so it is no wonder that the world’s smallest dog came from this breed. But there are other dogs who tend to brake this world record; one of them is a Maltese who is even smaller (he is still young, but his owner says he hasn’t grown a bit since his second month.)
The other one is a Jack Russell-Chihuahua mix, who has a great chance to take over the leading position in being small, in condition he does not grow much longer. In this moment, the Maltese is very close to brake the record.
It must be real fun to have such a tiny pet – or is it? These dogs look incredibly cute, almost unreal, but there are some serious issues regarding their health. For example, their bones are so fragile, that you must constantly watch for their security.
You can not take them out like would do if you had a larger dog, because they can easily be injured by a dog or even a cat! You can’t even put a leash onto this tiny neck, and while playing, you must be really careful!
The second interesting thing is … the price. Since these extremely small dogs are now becoming a sort of attraction, their price is getting higher and higher, so it is almost a matter of prestige to have this tiny miracle as a pet.
