Strongest Dog in The World

Is it possible to determine what the strongest dog in the world is? The question itself is pretty unclear, but there could be several answers. First, if we are considering dog breeds, than we can only say it in general. If we are trying to find that one dog that is supposed to be the strongest dog in the world…well, that is quite impossible.

There was a story of Wendy, a female dog form Canada. She is probably the most masculine dog in the world, but that doesn’t make her the strongest. The strength is more than just muscles, right? Still, this dog is certainly interesting for its defect. We call it ‘a defect’ because it really is a defect. Her muscles overdeveloped due to a genetic irregularity.

If the parameter for strength is capability of pulling things, than our strongest dog would certainly be the Newfoundland Dog or the Saint Bernard’s Dog.

The APBT would be the world’s strongest dog if the parameters for strength would be bite or capability to hold for a long, I mean LONG time. It is also the dog capable of puling cars and all kinds of real heavy stuff.

Not only the dogs belonging to this breed are very strong but they are genetically predisposed to be persistent, so it is no wonder why they are well known for half an hour hold onto tier hanging from a tree. Related to this, pit bulls became famous for the ‘locking jaw’, which is something that so many people believe in.

In despite of all the efforts to determine whether this is just a myth, people still consider it to be true and are very much afraid of pits. The truth is that this dog does have very strong bite, but he is not the only one. There are also the Doberman and the Rottweiler who have a strong bite.

The difference between those two breeds and pit bulls is in the fact that pit is very persistent dog, which won’t let go so easily, but not because he can’t (because of his allegedly locking jaw), but because he simple doesn’t want to. So you see that the strength demands control. And the strength is not just in muscles. There is something about “the guts” too.
